Correct way to sign Naturalization Certificate?

Hi all!

Well I made it! I became a U.S. citizen today in Los Angeles and feel a huge relief! I have my naturalization certificate in hand and the officers were rushing to get them out to the 3000 + people. They gave us our certificates and said review them, let them know if there were any errors and to sign them when we got home. I didn't even think to ask how it is we are supposed to sign these. Do we sign them as we would sign any other document? My signature is my first and second initial and then my last name. Would this suffice or do I need to write out my full name as it appears on the certificate. Thanks so much!

In case you haven't signed it yet...There is a copy of your signature printed on the certificate next to your photo. That's the signature you provided during your biometrics appointment. Sign the certificate exactly the same way so it matches that one. Congratulations!

Wait, that's the signature that's going to be on the certificate?! The one from biometrics? I kinda half-assed mine cause I wasn't expecting to sign anything and those digital pen pads aren't easy for me to get my signature the way I can with pen on paper. So, no chance of a do-over?
