Where is my I-90 receipt notice? Should I be worried?

Hello!

I recently filed I-90 because my 2 year conditional green card had an error (wrong resident since date). I sent the application on December 3rd, 2018. According to the proof of delivery from FedEx, It was delivered and signed for on December 4th, 2018. It’s been 2 weeks or 14 days now and I still haven’t heard back from them even though I did send G-1445. My question is how long do I have to wait for NOA1 (receipt notice)? It’s been 14 days now and I’m getting kinda worried. Especially considering that I sent my original green card with that application. I thought I would at least get a text message by now saying they received it but so far nothing.

I’d really appreciate any help I can get!

Thank you!

From the USCIS website page on G-1445 forms :

This service is only available for forms filed at our three Lockbox facilities located in Lewisville, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; and Phoenix, Arizona.

I'm assuming since you used Fedex, you didn't send it to one of the lockboxes---hence the G-1445 form was not applicable for your filing.

I got text message notifications (but no emails, even though I included that on the G-1145). The first text message took 10 days after my I-90 was received. Receipt notice came like 2 or 3 days after that. It could just be because it's getting closer to the holidays so things are slowing down. Plus the mail delivery system is swamped.

Thank you guys! I have an update tho! I just got a text message saying they received the case, 14 days after filing. I guess that means that G-1445 does work even if you mail via FedEx.

Again, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I do have another question tho. I want to contact my senator as well as request expedite processing due to USCIS error and I wanted to know how long  I have to wait before doing those things? Do I have to get my biometrics done first?

Thank you!

Yeah best to wait after biometrics. They can't process the I-90 til after they get your fingerprints.

You should go get an I-551 stamp in your passport, in case the expedite doesn't work & you have to wait the normal 5-6 months.
