I am not sure how to post a topic in the Canada portal so I am posting here???

I spoke to someone that recently booked their interview in Montreal.  They said they sent their packet 3 as soon as they received the "ready" on the CEAC site.  Monkey see monkey do and i did the same.  It was rejected saying they didn't have my file as of yet.  My issue is that I am in the USA currently and will be until the new year so I won't be home when packet 3 arrives.  If I was to send my stuff again would they penalize me or make things a little more difficult for me?  Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

No they won't peanlize you but you should definitely wait a little bit. Don't start sending them a new P3 everyday or anything like that. They may email you P3 vs mail anyway.

No they don't. Threads show up in the forum that they were posted in such as this thread is the K1 Forum. As such I am now moving it to the Canada forum.

I was speaking of the Canadian portal,  not the forum. 

 

If you click the link, you'll see the Canadian portal where everyone's threads are that have their country listed as Canada.

It took approximately 3 weeks for our case to be “accepted” so that we could submit  packet 3. I actually wrote an email inquiring about it and next thing you know I got the email requesting P3. Once submitted, we got P4 within 2 days.

Yes for us that’s how it went...after it turned to ready
