Milk also wrecks the health benefits of tea

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I am sure drinking some tea could be beneficial, but it doesn't seem beneficial to have a lot of caffeine every day. And more than a couple cups of tea a day is too much caffeine, IMO. I have read that more than 3 cups a day of tea or coffee is not good. The caffeine is also not good for ppl who may have blood pressure issues. So drinking lots of tea every day would not be good for them. Unless it's decaf tea.

Sweet tea, that's a whole other thing! You have to add in all the sugar, and one big glass of that alone would probably equal 3 cups of tea. lol.

I know, but I have yet to meet someone in the UK who takes their tea without milk. That's the great thing about iced tea....no milk in it. To me, sugar in iced tea is just GROSS.

Tea Council is right. Most tea is caffienated. Caffiene triggers the insertion of aquaporins that take water out of the body. The same volume of water would have more, well, water. And none of the diuretics...

When we visited North Carolina in 2004, I didn't realize that in a lot of restaurants, iced tea comes pre-sweetened. Boy, was I shocked when I took a big gulp of iced tea only to end up with a mouthful of sugar. BLECH.

I don't like sweet things, they make me sick. I can take sweets in small doses only, and sugary drinks are definitely puke-inducing.

Mmmmh .. I don't drink much water, but usually drink green tea all day. I can't stand the taste of the tea bags, so I always make it with loose tea. :)
Tea bags have a taste?:o
More of a negative--IMO, bags SUBRACT flavour (as compared to loose leaves).
