Forgot to include NOA2

So I really thought I was well prepared and organized to file the AOS for my husband.  I am pretty sure I included all of the supporting documents for the I485 however, I realized that I did not include his NOA2 for the EAD and AP.  I did include it in the I485 packet.  I am hoping everyone will give me encouraging news and tell me "it's ok".  If not I may be anticipating my first RFE.  With EAD and AP I included with each his visa, passport, I94 and 2 passport photos.

Well at least your RFE will be an easy fix.

Will just be an RFE, worst case they return the packet and you just add it and send it back.

What I really hope is that the person who opens it says "let me just make a copy of it from the I485 and put one with the I765" lol but doubt it

Sorry I went back and re-read your original post. I wouldn't stress actually. We did not include NOA2 with the EAD or AP sections, just in the I-485, we had no issues.

 

Thought it said you didn't include the NOA2 at all. My bad. You should be fine honestly.

That is fantastic news!  Seeing as how they may process each application separately I tried to put copies of everything with each application.  But yes, it IS in there!

It really does just depend on who reviews your file. If they are super picky you may get an RFE, if they aren't they will process it normally. I wouldn't stress though.

i forgot to include Birth certificate with EAD form, but I was told that these are just extra papers if you are filing with I-485, you should be fine! watch us get RFE for these silly things.🤣
