I thought it’s Packet 3 in the mail today but this is what i’ve got, anyone from Canadian VJ members received the same letter?

I received the exact same letter. It might have something to do with not being born in Canada but still being a citizen. You can send them a scanned copy of your Canadian passport biographical page. P3 arrived a week after responding to it.

I got the same generic reply, and they completely ignored the first half of my email to them asking if I need one affidavit of support per family or an individual one per person (myself and 3 K2's)

Hi EdmoAm,

Did you ever get a clearer response from Montreal regarding extending the i-129? We are also trying to extend it and got that very frustrating response that the person at the interview will decide - which might be past our deadline so that's not a very comfortable place to be!

Anyone else have an interview recently with an expired i-129 and was told it was fine? We previously thought not to worry but are now a bit concerned!

No, I haven't gotten any clearer response from Montreal. From what other's are saying though, as long as you've completed your DS-160 and booked an interview before that date, it's usually fine. I'll find out in 3 weeks though.

Did you see a “previous” employment or education section on the DS-160? I’ve seen people from other countries post about that, yet don’t remember seeing anything beyond current employment on mine!  Also: are you sending your Packet 3 as an email with PDF files? PDF or jpeg for passport scan? Anything written in the body of the email?

No previous employment on mine. Only current employment.

Yes, I will send it as an email with separate pdf files, but I don't see anywhere that says it needs it to be pdfs. You are probably fine with jpegs since they don't specify file type. I would write in the email that you have attached the P3 documents, and write a brief list out of what each is (and name the files so this is easy to identify for them).

Anyone know anything about when/if any interview dates will become available? It’s been a week since I received packet 4 to schedule my appointment. It seems like a terrible system of constantly checking to see if someone cancels with no idea when they will start to open up more dates ...

Getting so anxious to at least have an interview date so I can book my medical. My NOA2 also expires in beginning of April so I’m starting to get worried we won’t get an interview before then. Anyone else in this situation or know anything about embassies that have “no appointment dates available”?

Have you tried emailing them? I only received an electronic copy from them and ONLY after I emailed about 3 times asking for it! Ahah it seemed to work tho because the third time they replied asking for my packet 3 docs. I also sent them another email the day after I sent packet 3 asking for packet 4 and they replied right away with that as well! I hope you have the same luck as me and this quickens your process a bit!!:)

Neither do I.  I'm guessing your answers dictate what options you get.  I've been doing the same job since 2004, so maybe they only want the last few years or so?
