Trying to scare them out of me just pi$$es me off, which makes the hiccups worse, but drinking a glass of water fast seems to do the trick.

June 7/07 DS-230 entered into the system

June 18/07 Case Complete!

July 25/07 Medical

September 4/07 Contacted State Senator Re: MTL backlog

Dec.6/07 INTERVIEW..... APPROVED!!!! (After being kept awake all night in dirty clothes standing outside my hotel because Air Canada lost my luggage and my hotel started on fire. Meh, sleep is highly over-rated anyways.)

We always drank water from a cup from the opposite side of the cup.... (not from side the one closest to you) YOu have to lean over to do it..

Always worked for me! I did it here in the US and my USC hubby looked at me like i was nutters!! :jest: I think it's the concentration (probably same idea as the 10 sips thing)..

Two methods work for me --

  1. Hold your breath and count -- not too quickly -- to 21; or
  2. Take 3 sips of water very quickly

Although I think I may investigate this oral sex cure you speak of... :lol:

I have never had them successfully "scared" away
