K1 PETTION WITHDRAWN BEFORE APPROVAL, CAN I APPLY /B1/B2

Hi,

Dear users i have a very important issue to discuss with you guys.

 

I have withdrawn my K1 visa pettion around 6 months ago which was filled by my ex finace from USA. I wrote a letter to the USA embassy asking to withdrawn my K1 pettion as i am no longer in a relationship with my ex fiance bcs i have relaized that we are not compatible.

 

I am getting married to another girl from Pakistan in April-2019

 

So my question is that now i am planning to visit New york in Jan-2019 as a tourist is it possible to get Usa Tourist visa after i have wirhdrawn my K1 pettion my self and have no any contact or realtion with my ex fiance. Please Help

 

Your advice will be highly apreciated.thanks very much

Possible, yes. Likely? Depends on your particular circumstances.  Whether or not you do get a tourist visa will mainly depend on the ties you can show to return home after your planned trip.

I am currently working as a General manager and a permanent resident here have my own car and rented flat with handsome amount of salary.i am travling to Pakistan for getting married in April-2019

Where is “here”? Anyway, if you have proof of all that take it with to the interview, as well as a letter from your employer stating they will grant you vacation time and you’ll be returning after that. As you were the one who withdrew from the K1, that shouldn’t be a negative factor in your application. Be aware that sometimes even someone who looks good on paper gets a denial though, there are no guarantees. Good luck.

only the petitioner can withdraw the application as far as i know. regardless, you didnt complete the process.

 

where is 'here'?

 

It is possible to get a tourist visa after a K1 cancellation, but depending on your citizenship of *where ever* it may or may not be likely. You will have to have strong proof of ties to your home country, and even cases that look solid have been denied in the past.

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

10/23/21 Received Mailed NOA1
