Medical exam in Peru 8 weeks wait for sputum test

Hi everyone, im in the process with my fiance for a K1 visa through Peru embassy. Recently he went to the doctor for the medical exam and they placed him in a 8 weeks wait period and gave him an appointment for sputum test. 

 

I would like to know if anyone knows how is the process in Peru with this and if we can go to the interview before this 8 weeks finishes.

Don't do the interview before the medical results are released. I'm not sure how it is for Peru, but many consulates will not let you interview (and some not even let you into the embassy) unless you have the medical completed first.

Plus if the test comes back positive for TB, you're looking at 6 months of treatment, in which a new interview may be needed anyway.

Wait for the the results.

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

You can ask ppl had this process in Peru.Here in my country, we need the USA consulate number then to book the medical exam.Also if he's positive for TB,they won't let him pass the interview till he gets treatment for 6 month. Your epackage 3 might arrive in 1 month and you only have 4 month to get the interview done(see the Noa2,expiration date )
