I thought that this would be an interesting topic, since there are so many people out there just looking for something to debate about!

My husband claims to have had many women in his hey-day, so many, in fact, that he does not remember the actual number. Therefore, he has never told me a number.

My number was easy, it was zero before my hubby, but it kinda bothers me that he wont tell me. He has to know the number, all men know their number!!!

So, does your SO know your number?? do you know theirs?? is it something that was or could have been an issue in your relationship???

He doesn't want to tell you because its a path to the darkside......some info leads to other info. Best not to know and enjoy the present.

We talked about it at length early in our engagement... but really I don't care. It was VERY long ago and in another life... all that mattered was that he told me he'd had an AIDs test in the interim and passed so he wasn't going to be bringing any unwanted 'presents' to our marriage bed.

Yes we discussed it. It's only an issue if you let it be.

Does he actually remember? That I can't honestly answer since I'm not a mind reader... regardless of the fact my wife wishes/thinks I am

I've always asked boyfriends and my now husband about that as it's an important part of who they were and why they were!

I choose not to dwell on it because it's the past but for some reason I'm one of those girls who likes to know and I guess also part of me feels if they're willing to tell you that then there's likely not much tey won't tell you!

I think at one time we may have given numbers to each other, but honestly it doesn't matter, it's not significant to our relationship. He and I both have no problem with the past, as it is just that, the past. We're grown adults, it really doesn't matter.

it was important to me. religiously, i was extremely wary about even dating someone who had ... slept before. it was important that my future husband be "pure" ... and i didn't have to compromise anything ... and now since we've both only been with each other, there's no jealosy
