I have been preparing the final documents for our interview on the 7th and I had a thought cross my mind. When it comes to the I-134 should it be the original signed form or will a print out work? I have time to mail it if that's what it takes I'm just curious if it's worth the hassle??

Well, I guess the real question is has anyone who was recently approved from the Mumbai Consulate provide a copy of the I-134 not the original @Greenbaum Can anyone provide feedback?

@Tara & Rohit, if I’m in ur place & hve enough time to mail it ,I would rather mail it than take a chance. I hve read that it doesn’t hve to be wet signature ,a copy is just fine but why take a chance if you hve time ? That’s just my thinking Tara will see what experienced people say .

Yes, Wet signature is required. my fiance yesterday when she turned in papers at the doc check person or first window, she gave in copies of my I-134 by mistake as I asked her to take an extra copy along.. anyway, the embassy employee asked for original. that means.. he/she wanted to see my signature.

I sent in the signed page3/4 of the I-134 with bank statement unsigned via fedex to my fiance. reached her in 3 days.. but bank statement was never asked for. just w2, IRS tax receipt.. not 1040 and paystubs were taken.

@Knome Could you check ceac.state.gov site with your BMB number?
I checked my fiance status, it shows "Administrative processing"

@Srinath06,don’t worry abt that as from what I hve read & from a recent post by @Greenbaum, after approval case moves from immigrant to non immigrant status before visa is issued. So that process shows as Administrative processing when we check. Once issued it changes.

I'm worried or tensed.. I checked ceas.state.gov for status with my fiance BMB, her visa approved at the interview yesterday 02/21/19
but the ceas.state.gov shows, help!

Can I ask how many of you guys had a informal engagement with ring? We had a informal engagement , only our parents & siblings were there & he put a ring on me. But now I’m worrying if that’s going to be a problem at interview .. it was at my house no other ceremonies .
