Hi i need help my husband had his interview at 12 sep and officer said his visa is approved and he can collect his passport in one or two week but when i check ceac website it says administrative processing and they update everyday does any one have any idea when they will send passport thank you

It's only been a couple days.... Administrative processing is a normal process that everyone, and I mean everyone goes through in the visa process. It's simply the embassy finalizing things, doing final security/background checks, ect... It can last 2-3 days, 2-3 weeks, 2-3 months, or even 1+ years.

 

No one can tell you how long yours will last so at this point you have to be patient. Hearing an approval at the interview is good but in AP they can find things to reverse the decision. Not to scare you or say they will; but it can happen. Again just have to be patient and let them do their thing at the embassy.

Yes im from pakistan.

Can anyone from Pakistan who had the interview in sep 2018 got visa? Please share after how many days passport is received with visa after interview?

Interviewed on Sept 7, received the passport on September 14th.  One or two days showing AP, then changed to issued.  Passport in post a few days later.
