All documents are submitted electronically via ceac. Documents are no longer mailed. And you do not need to attach a cover letter.

Do I need to upload my marriage contract even though I’m divorce ? Or it has to be the divorce paper that I need to upload and leave the marriage contract part not available. Thank u in advance. 😊

The only marriage certificate you would attach is for a current marriage. If you are divorced you must attached the official divorce decree translates and certified if it’s not in English

Your welcome. When I answered your first question I thought your us citizen daughter lived with you. Since she doesn’t, no you do not include her as part of your household. And yes. Your uncle can joint sponsor both your 1st born and mother. Your joint household sponsor should include his household plus who he is sponsoring on “each form” 5 each on total. Your 864 is correct.

Hi there it’s me again. 😊 So the joint sponsor for my daughter was still n/a. So I assumed that even though I put 3 family member on my household, my second daughter won’t be included when they count my household size because I did not claimed her on my last tax return. I only received an email for my mom regarding the joint sponsor thing but nothing for my daughter and I sent both of them at the same time. Is this make sense?

Not sure if this thread is still going. Has anyone on here completed their process, entered the US and awaiting social security number and green card. We arrived on January 16th. I was told social security number would arrive 2 weeks after, we are still waiting and when I called ssa they have no information for me. At a loss here. I need my social for so many things!!

Forget it it's not coming you must first go to the SS office we've been through this also you must have the permanent resident card first . Feel free to message me at (removed) . Many people will say they got the Card in two days of entering my card came in about 4 months.

The SS office made us wait for the green card plus keep in mind they must use the name format on the back of the permanent resident card not the format on the front your SS card should read First Middle and Last name not First Middle Intital and last name my wife went there alone and the misformat her As card but I had to go back and point out her full name on the back of her permanent resident card so they sent a new SS card. Also you should wait until the permanent resident card comes I have heard stories of some who rushed to get to the SS office and had a card issued and later something happened and when the permanent resident card came a different SS number came later in the mail this will be a small mess just wait for your permanent resident card then go to the SS office you'll be ok.

Hey guy's. It's been 20 months and our i130 haven't been approved. My wife is a US citizen. We tried calling the senator and all the other options. Our lawyer not helping at all. Our i130 was received on August 6, 2018. Ever since the only update was on March 29, 2019 case was move to a local office.

Is there something wrong here?

Hi,

Sorry to hear you’re 130 is taking so long. But from my experience with our petition, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Mind you, the current situation has somewhat stalled the system a bit. Our 130 took 1 year for approval and this was after 2 RFE’s. Like yours, it was also transferred to local office, and then we received RFE for more evidence of bonafide marriage, we submitted evidence and 2 weeks later it was approved. Since you already went to the senator, try congress office. That’s what we did. In the meantime, have you called and asked to speak to tier 2 officer?
