The IRS requires you to declare monies from all wages earned.

So how can non-taxable income be from a job?

Usually non-taxable income is income such as inheritance, gifts, child support, welfare payments, etc.

Any monies from wages, commission, self-employment, any sort of job is taxable income.

If you have an excess of money from inheritance or gifts, you could use assets instead of income but it would have to be 3x the amount required for income.

Like above, most money is taxable and needs to be reported with some exceptions so specifics are needed to better answer your question.

For instance, I have monthly non taxable money from the VA for injuries from the Army. It isn't much but it isn't taxable; but the IRS knows about it.

Because I didn’t make enough income in 2017 I had to ask my friend to joint sponsor my fiancé. He works for IHSS.  Since he is a provider for a client who lives with him, he makes over $34,000 not including overtime pay. Since his income is exempt from Federal and state tax withholding. So his gross adjustable income in 2017 W-2 was showing only a little over $4000.  My friend has only his wife for dependent. The U.S embassy didn’t accept my friend for joint sponsor and they asked for another joint sponsor. My friend’s annual income exceeds the 2018 poverty guidelines for 3 people. I don’t know why they asked for another sponsor.

Does non taxable income from a job that exceed poverty guidelines for 2 people counts as a income to use for sponsoring my fiancé .

no

according to my lawyer immigration (at NVC level) only looks at line 37 taxable income x

i do not pay taxes now on my annunity as i paid taxes on the money when i earned it so i had to drag out past tax records to prove that to get NVC to accept my nontaxable income

You need to find a new sponsor.

Can my sister use social security retirement and her husband Veterans pension to sponsor my fiancé. She file tax return only on social security retirement and on a par time job, the rest of her husband’s military’s pensions are non taxable.  My sister is still sponsoring 4 of my family member who hold green card also my nephew lives with her and she claims him as dependent. The home she lives in it now is paid off. When she files tax she has only $9000 in adjusted gross income because it is only from (social security retirement and the par time job she has)

can she use her veterans pension and use her house for assets to complete the required income in form I-864.

Where does veterans pensions go in form I-864. Can someone please  answer me on this matter. Thank you so much
