Recently I met a DV lottery winner girl , we met for the first time in june,  and we got into relationship, Couple of weeks she informed me that she loves me and want to get married with me before submitting DS-260 and we are planning the wedding next month,  knowing that her case number is about 7000

- will there be any issues regarding her DV application ?

- do we need to prove that the marriage is real and how to do that  ? knowing that we did not know each other before she won

- Is there a deadline for submitting the DS 260 ? case number is about 7000

Met first time in June and got into a relationship 😉 right away. And now planning a wedding all in under 3 months. That's a pretty quick courtship!

There will be no issues but yes they might ask few questions here and there to make sure your marriage is real, however, its very common for DV winners to marry after being selected so both can come together to US. As long as you have good proofs of your marriage, you will be good.

No specific deadline for ds260 but the earlier the better. Since you are marrying next montg, may be submit ds 260 1-2 months after marriage so you have more evidences of marriage.

7000 in what region? Makes a big difference. If AF the interview could be relatively soon, if AS still months away. Interview will not be scheduled until the DS260 is received and processed.

of course they will want to see evidence that the marriage is real and not a “green card” marriage. I disageee with Arken that you don’t need to worry, because yes while it’s not unusual for DV winners to marry after selection, in the vast majority of these cases it’s people who have already been in an established relationship and can easily prove that. Marriages of people who met after selection are scrutinized very closely. If the officer thinks it’s just a green card marriage then both of you will be denied and possibly face a ban on entry to the US.

Indeed interesting timing, especially lucky he found one of the few single DV winners who doesn’t submit DS260 quickly!! Interesting coincidence that.

I equally wouldn’t recommend you go by what @arken wrote above. You met after your girlfriend was selected and she proposed to you in under three months. Yes, your marriage WILL BE deeply scrutinized, and I doubt you’ll be able to overcome the marriage being viewed as a fraudulent one. And like Susie already posted, you should both be prepared to be slapped with a lifetime ban from the US.

- will there be any issues regarding her DV application ?  Yes.  After winning DV, quick meeting, quick courtship, quick marriage.  The US Embassy is well aware of quick fake marriages to a DV winner so the "spouse" can immigrate.  Expect the US Embassy to scrutinize your relationship looking for immigration fraud.

- do we need to prove that the marriage is real and how to do that  ?   Yes, you have to prove your marriage is real.  You provide evidence of how you met, how your relationship evolved, when you knew you loved each other, etc.  knowing that we did not know each other before she won

- Is there a deadline for submitting the DS 260 ? Yes, before the end of the DV lottery in September 2019.  Filing sooner is better.  case number is about 7000
