So my status finally says Ready!! Thank you God!!! I've filled out ds 160 and paid my fee, then it referred me to click to schedule an interview and once I clicked, it said there are no current appointments available....what does that mean? Not even in the future? Or do I call straight to US embassy in Czech Republic?

NOA 2 Aug 27, phoned today, the case was received. Not yet have the case number yet.

My fiancee was working in Hong Kong the last 3 years. So he doesnt have the W2 form. But he is working in the US since 4 months ago.

Does anyone know what documents we need for the interview for the financial support part?

Thank you

Do you have a copy of the P3 from your Embassy that outlines the required documents? The best place to start is asking these questions is in your sub-forum for your country and the Embassy website. I'll share some links for you now. I hope you use them to become more knowledgeable in the process.

Spend some time at the HK US Embassy website and read up on what the requirements are and what is next. Here is the link: https://hk.usconsulate.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/ and

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/hk/Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants 14June2017.pdf

Spend sometime in the sub forums for China/HK found here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/  There are many experts that can help you along. Most here in this forum are trying to get their arms around their own process and have very little knowledge for HK.

Please don't post anything in the thread that contains personal information including but not limited to your WAC #.

My hunch is that NVC sent it back do some error for additional adjudication. No body know why, and yes others have had this happen to them, and no, nobody can tell you how long it will take because every case is different.

Hi Greenbaum,

Thank you a lot for your help (as always).

I asked Polish Embassy if P3 is required before I schedule, and they respond:

The Embassy has to receive the case file from the National Visa Center. (NVC). Upon receipt, we will send a letter to advise the applicant about his/her eligibility to schedule the appointment for the formal visa interview.  More information on the processing of fiancé visa cases can be found on the Embassy website.

So it's prerequisite 😕

Yes, you need to wait for their letter officially but nothing says you can't use the information that I gave you and the information found in the link the Embassy provided for you to get things ready. Then when you are ready you'll be more apt to pick an appointment date that is more to your liking. Good luck.

Is anyone getting this message after getting their case number?

Others do get that for two reasons. One your early and your case number hasn't been uploaded by NVC. Second is that you have to use "immigrant visa" for this to work.

Hey, I was receiving that error when I was entering my case number but it was because I had a typo. I thought I heard them tell me the case number was SVO instead of SDO lol
