Folks pay attention in all documents that you are submitting to USCIS, if your name is mispelled wrong in any document that you are submitting to USCIS such as utiliy bill, health/car insutance, bank account, lease agreement etc, YOU MUST INCLUDE police clearance with every single name. For example your name is Mary Lucy Smith, but some bills are showing your name  as Mary Smith, or Mary.L.Smith, or Mary Lucy you have to get police clearance with all name versions ok, even in case of mispelled name.USCIS  will not issue RFE to ask police clearance  anymore,if you do not submit all names used in administrative documents  they will deny your case.

But that was before the new policy memo, right? My worry right now is they might deny it because of the lack of evidence or they might consider and issue an RFE.  Well, I guess i just have to wait to know.

If you know that all evidences were not submitted then submit  when you get the receipt number. Most likely USCIS will not issue RFE anymore asking documents to prove good moral character, abuse and/or bonafide marriage.

I still do not have the receipt for I-485, but my lawyer sent it to USCIS on September 7. As verified the status of the shipment on the Fedex page, USCIS received it on the 10th at 11:47 am.
I wonder if that date in which USCIS signed Fedex as received the package will be the same date that will be on the receipt or if USCIS can change the date of receipt, that is instead of putting September 10 as mentioned by Fedex , USCIS will put some other date differently.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

They will consider the date showing on the receipt.

@Sandra, iwillsurvive, @Damara and other collaborators please confirm the information that MGJ_NY is presenting, in which it states that the new law is effective after September 11, that is, it applies to the cases received by USCIS from day 12 of September or later.
Thanks in advance!

All policies and Immigration Laws  apply to all U.S States, because immigration is regulated by Federal Laws.

what if I submit the receipts of my I-485 and I-765 with I-360 documents ? Do you think they could still deny my case for filing after 11th September?

You did not understand the USCIS RFE policy. You can SUBMIT anytime documents to USCIS before the  final decision. The new policy is about USCIS issuing RFE, it'snot about the petitioner  submiting documents to USCIS.

@sandraj Is there any update about VAWA re-authorization ? It's freaking me out because I have not filed the case yet because of the insufficient documents. I am just waiting for my psychological evaluation report which I will probably get today.

The Senate passed a temporary extension until Dec 7th, and I guess until then they’ll decide on the reauthorization.

Hi @sandraj! Thanks for responding. Can you please give me some clarification or anyone in the group?   My receipt number is 9/11 and I haven’t submitted my psychological evaluation and certification of good conduct yet. Does the new policy apply to me? Should I just ask my lawyer to send my documents now? She wants to wait for USCIS to send us an RFE before sending my documents.

No I did not say or suggest that, but I was just providing you with a helpful tip if PF was on hand :)

You may either:

1- Wait for a PF then send it with the receipt

2-Wait for the RFE as your lawyer suggested (look into the uscis updated policy regarding correspondence & RFEs)

3) You may send a copy of the supporting documents along with a cover letter and a copy of your i-360 receipt to VSC and schedule infopass if appointments are available. (double check with @sandranj)

At the end of the day, don't panic if everything else is correct, some of us did not submit a psychological evaluation and VAWA was approved based on other evidence.
