BRB, going to bombard NVC from my cell and landline.

and to others still waiting - boo NVC! - i don't understand that delay AT ALL!

i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

we'll see how long it takes NVC to boot my stuff across the pond now. the operator said to check back on tuesday next week.

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-25-07 DOS says interview date is August 21

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

7-06-07 Interview at 9:00 am at the London Embassy - Approved.

7-16-07 Visa delivered after 'security checks' completed

I-129F approved in 111 days; Interview 174 days from filing

- June 23, 2008 - Going home to my man, finally :) POE (ATL)

- 08-08-08 - Wedding :)

- 08-21-10 - 2 year Green Card received! :)

I called NVC today too and they said they mailed off our package yesterday. Received Monday, mailed off to Leb on Wednesday. Way to go NVC! SWEEEEET!

I still haven't received my NOA2 hard copy though. I'm hoping my nosy roommate didn't snatch it up from the mail first! That 'Department of Homeland Security' envelope is bound to raise some eyebrows! :P

calling NVC right now - and on hold of course, lol. my fiance hasn't received our NOA2 hard copy yet either... i'll mention this to whomever i speak to about this, it shouldn't take this long should it?

Yeah, no luck for us yet =/ Called again tonight to talk to a human, she asks "Case number?" and I say "blah blah" and she asks what type of Visa it was, I say fiancee visa...and she says....check back next week, it takes 2-4 weeks.

just got off the phone with NVC - woohoo, i have my new case number!! :thumbs:

unfortunately, the most accurate the very nice gentleman on the phone could be about when my case would be forwarded to Vancouver - and he did say Vancouver and NOT Montreal, which is SOOOOOOO good - is 'in the next couple weeks'. :(

oh well, at least i know it's there and moving along... :dance:

hi psho, how were you informed by NVC that they got your petition already? did they sent you(USC) the mail or the benificiary? or was it via email? :help:

06/25/12: received email from USDOS - requesting for AOS (Affidavit of Support) processing fee for $88.00

WOOOOO!!! Add me to the list of May 3rd NOA2s to get to NVC today. So exciting!! Let's hope for that 4 day turnaround!! :D

1/22/07 - USPS confirmed delivery

1/23/07 - Receipt showed up in online case status

1/26/07 - Received receipt notice by mail (not exactly sure on this date, but it's close) NOA1

1/26/07 - Check cashed (not exactly sure on this date, but it's close)

1/26/07 - Marked as touched in online case status

4/25/07 - By 3:30 PM last date touched changed in online case status to 4/25

4/26/07 - By 8:55 AM last date touched changed in online case status to 4/26

5/3/07 - Got 2 emails of approval at 11:30 AM!!! NOA2 (online but not received in the mail yet)!!!

5/4/07 - Touched.

5/10/07 - Case received by NVC!!! Only 1 week!!

5/14/07 - NVC sent to Juarez. Fast again!

5/17/07 - Juarez has received petition.

5/22/07 - Juarez mailed packet.

5/29/07 - Received packet in US.

6/4/07 - Going for medical exam in Juarez.

6/5/07 - Going for consulate interview...hopefully getting the visa!!!

6/5/07 - Got it!

6/14/07 - Juan arrived in the US through San Francisco

7/10/07 - Civil wedding

8/23/07 - Check finally cashed, still no receipt or anything in the mail (receipt #s are on the back of the cancelled checks, so you could use them to call or check status online if data entry was completed)

9/14/07 - Still the cases aren't showing up online.

You need to call them. Well, you don't NEED to - but that's how you'll find out faster. Scroll up in this thread, the phone number and instructions are posted here (and all around VJ). Good luck!

And congrats to the other NVC-arrivals group (and even the departure group! Go Scarlett!)

I haven't received the NOA2 hard copy yet either, but I'm not sweating yet.

From what I recall, the next time it is needed is at the AOS stage, right?

I'm sure ours will all come soon. It took at least a week for the NOA1 to arrive, as I recall.

Petition approved on 4/27 and hoped to be at NVC by now. I called NVC and was told to try back at the end of the month ( yea right ).

My problem is that, we were touched on 4/28 the day after approval and again on 5/9/07. I hope this was CSC sending our approved petition to NVC !!!

Keeping my fingers, toes, knees, ankles, arms and eyes crossed.
