Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

Great News From USCIS, they will start sending new updated i-797 forms extending our green cards for 18 months instead of 12, I guess that will save us the trip to get a stamp after 1 year with our cases pending.

Hi does anybody know if I can get an i-551 stamp in my passport on top of the NOA1 once I receive it? I am in the process of starting a new job and my green card is expiring at the end of this month. Looking at the table above it looks like I should be getting my NOA1 just around the time of expiry, but to avoid any confusion with the new employer I was thinking that maybe showing them a stamp in my passport would make things easier for them.

I was looking at January 2018 filers. The people at CSC got the biometrics interview for May. Not sure when the letter was received. And people filing at VSC got their biometrics in February. 
But I also noticed another thing - most people filing at CSC got a letter that said biometrics not required. And most people at VSC did need to go for Biometrics. I am wondering if they are trying to do this to reduce already long delays in processing.

 

Also - I read one  person who said he/she did get a letter saying biometrics is not required, but the money does not get refunded. That kinda sucks.

No I think people who will be now getting their NOA's dated June 11th or later - will receive 18 months.

Mine was dated 6/6 so missed it by 5 days there.:wacko:

"Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card."

 

Does it mean anyone who has not gotten their biometrics letter yet falls in the "pending" category?

They did mention below
