That is why it is a little confusing as to why they are quoting about the bio metrics in the 18 month extension letter for someone who had earlier received the 12 month extension . May be it is just the way the letters are drafted

Hmm, any idea why folks that filed earlier at the CSC haven't got their 18 month extensions yet? Our NOA is 6/5 and still no word yet.

I Updated the sheet with everyone who got the 18 month extension letter. (The borders and colors go away when I copy paste it here. @J&Y How do you keep the borders and color intact when copying from excel?)

Well, it looks like May 2018 filers are just now getting their 18-mth extension letters. If you got NOA on 6/5/2018, then you have to wait your turn as you are a June filer.

We filed in early May but didn't get the NOA for a month. I'm just looking at the timelines. People with later NOA dates have gotten their extensions.

That's understood.....but you still will have to wait.

 

The 18-mth extension letters are being mailed out en masse to many applicants who previously got their 12-mth extension letters.

Informed Delivery shows something from USCIS scanned. It didn't come in yesterday and mail doesn't run today, so I'm assuming it'll be here tomorrow. If I had to guess, I think it'd be the 18 month extension.
