Update:

CC:May 3

Received email with interview date: May 21

Interview Date: June 24

Yay!!!! My case is a pivot case.

Ps: for those who remember my dilemma in regards to uploading docs to the ceac site. It seems my lawyer fired his assistant. I guess my case wasn't the only one she messed up with. I could've had CC in March!

I am in the same boat. USCIS says sent it in February, NVC says they never received it. Called USCIS twice, we are waiting on our 3rd service request, and case has been  with a supervisor at NVC  for over 4 weeks now. I am at a loss ...

It's fine provided you take both forms with you to the interview.

Question: can the petitioner join the interview as well? Or its applicant only?

That's strictly for your embassy to decide. Some embassies allow while some don't. Contact your embassy.

Congratulations!!

I believe you keep the original date if your request for an interview at an earlier date is rejected. You can also mention that in your request to keep your original date if they can’t honor your request.

I believe for pivot cases, it’s the same date as CC date as everything is on the CEAC website. Nothing needs to be physically transferred. Someone from NVC just needs to notify the embassy that the person is approved.

Thanks :)

PD  = 15 DEC 2016

NOA 1 = 21 DEC 2016

NOA 2 = JAN 2018

(AS PETITIONER WAS ON GREEN CARDS THAT IS WHY IT TOOK SO LONG)

NVC RECEIVED = 12 FEB 2018

CASE # ASSIGNED = 19 APR 2018

PAID AOS & IV FEE = 20 APR 2018

FEE DEDUCTED = 25 APR 2018

DS260/CIVIL DOCS/ AOS SUBMITTED = 26 APR 2018

WAITING FOR CC :D
