@GeeRaf @Greenbaum Do we need the printed DS-160 application? When we submitted our DS-160 application the computer froze and the web browser closed. We got the confirmation but don't have the DS-160 application printed. Will this be a problem?

As long as you have the confirmation page with the bar code then you are ok for the interview.

So sorry to hear this. My fiance just came back from Pakistan after visiting family and he has his passport in hand but his boss has been very supportive in this process. We were very forthcoming regarding him leaving the company.

Do you think this was because he renewed his work visa?

I am soooo very sorry that is absolutely horrible

Thank you for not placing blame. I offered to pay the 8,000aed visa renewal fee. His owner still is holding the passport. So there was no interview

Does it matter at this point why someone would choose to treat someone else as a slave? No. It does not. Yes, we were forthcoming also. As I said even offering to pay the visa renewal fee. He already works him 14 hours a day 6 days a week and is the only civil engineer in the company. This is why. He wants him to finish projects first.

Yes he is allowed to visit Jordan because the owner is from Jordan and knows he will not go there to stay. There is no work at all for him there.but u.s. is a different story

Again, I am sorry I know it is upsetting. I did not mean to offend you. I know working there is not the easiest thing since owners abuse the workers with unrealistic expectations. I pray that he will get his passport and you both are together soon.
