I would like to share my experienced on my K1 visa interview last April 1, 2018 at 8:00 am Abu Dhabi. I live in Dubai. Two hours away If I will go with the public bus so, I decided to check  in a hote

Hello all!

We received our NOA2 in June 18th after 228 days waiting and are waiting for NVC number currently.

 

My fiance is going through Abu Dhabi embassy, so have been searching VJ for info and required documents and found this link that's current 🙂  Hope to learn as much as I can here.  

 

Would love to know your timelines... and noticed several are blank.  Would you mind to fill in your timelines or share your dates? It would be a HUGE help! We are still trying to figure out the approximate dates that are coming,  so if we can see what's been happening it might give us a better idea 😉

 

We don't want to request his police clearance too soon and it expire,  but also don't want to wait to late 😕

Adjusting Status from Conditional Green Card after K1 Visa:
4-20-21 Sent 751 packet (via USPS overnight)

4-21-21 Received by USCIS (Signed by T. Wright)

5-7-21   Receipt date on our 797 (extending GC for 18 months) {we included G-1145, got a text, but no email - for those curious.}

5-8-21   Received Text message from USCIS with receipt number, Assigning service center SRC. (@12:35pm) 

5-10-21  Check cashed/cleared our bank

5-13-21  Hard copy of 797 Received in postal mail

5-17-21 Received email notice update from USCIS account that on 17th they used his previous biometrics for 751.

5-21-21 Biometrics letter received in postal mail.

better wait for ur case to be “ready” at AD USEM before request for police clearance since it will take only 3-5 days. 

Let us know if u need any info. ☺️

hi! yes do not open the envelope. u will submit it in us immigration upon entry, they will open it and check and they will keep it.

You could apply for the polic clearance through their online web and they will send it to your email, it would cost you 250 AED
