hi, i lost my passport and my receipt notice for i751 is expiring. I know people can get a stamp on their passport to extend their status until i751 i approved.

do i have to have a passport to get this stamp? is there any other way to get the stamp without a passport?

If I don't get the stamp, will my status end even though my i751 application is still in progress? Will i need to lose my job?

thank you for help.

note: i lost my passport and applied for a new one but embeassy says it may take more than 6 monhts to recieve my new passport.

If you don't have a valid passport you can request to have the I-551 stamp placed on a blank I-94.

Yes, you can get your stamp even if your passport is expired. You will need 2 passport photos alongside your green card.

Thank you for responses.

1 - I am not sure if I have I94. Is it something I can get or is it something that I already have?

2 - So even if i don't have a passport(not an expired one but i don't have any passport) i can get the stamp on I94. Correct?

Thanks again.

Hi i know its been a while since you poster this. But I’m on the same situation right now. Were you able to get a stamp without a passport or i-94?

I seen up a few posts that they could put it on a blank i-94. You need to go to a Philippine Embassy to get a new one
