For the interview consulates require original civil documents.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Who are you (USC or beneficiary) and what part of the process are you in?

I am the USC and I am in the preparation part of the process. Getting my i-129 packet together. Will I need it for the package?

A careful read of the instructions to the I-129F indicates that evidence in support of the petition should be legible photocopies unless the USCIS specifically asks for an original.  Since they do not specifically ask for original divorce documents you have your answer

Copies for the application.  Make sure you send copies of the entire divorce decree.  The consulate asked to see the original at the interview.
