Do i need fill out extra form for my kids live with me and under 18 year old to be a citizen ?

Hi, 

Just a tip I want to share , Or Is there are reason not to just check the case status page - https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do , instead of the https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ ? 

It much faster without the 2fO, and also although they are getting updated at the same time, the email alerts from https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do, arrives one day earlier (at least it was for my other cases).

Interesting, are you saying that you can sign up for alerts on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do ? I did not know that you can get emails alerts through it.

Yep, after you are adding your cases , you can choose sms/email.

it also shows more information (at least for the other cases) such as service requests. 

The only thing different with the n400 receipt , is that on the main screen  (where it shows all the receipts) it doesn't show last updated time , so I am not sure if the alerts will work as well. (It does show the status)

Yea, that is correct. I even forgot I have an account in the legacy site 🤣 Just logged in and signed up for alerts.

Oh, Wow. That's a long wait. When I clicked my case ID in the legacy site, I see "Next Steps": We will prepare your case for officer review.  If we need more information, we will notify you.

Do you see anything different?

No you don't need to do anything for them yet. If you become a naturalized citizen before they turn 18,  they automatically become citizens as well. You can apply for passports for them. You can file for N600 (after you become citizen) for them to get their own certificate of naturalization. It costs a lot so some people don't do it, but there are pros to having it and it can be done anytime.

I just got my interview scheduled in Portland (I live in South King County).  Applied on 3/23/2020 and interview is 6/15/2021. I updated the tracker.

I just saw someone on reddit who had his interview 2 days ago at the Seattle office he filed in September 2019. I'm starting to think that they might have 2 pipelines, one to Seattle and one to Portland. Good luck!
