What was the original interview date? And when did you apply? I applied may 21st 2020. Biometrics reuse notice received on 25 oct.

I applied on June 4 and my interview date was January 27. I’ve been anxiously anticipating for the interview but then this happened. I’ll be anxious even longer 😕

Sorry to hear that, my buddy who was scheduled to interview on Feb 2nd got his canceled too, it might be related to the change of administration.

Why would a change in administrations cause cancellations in February?

I am a Chicago filer. Had been waiting for more than a year for schedule of interview and mine just got cancelled for January 19th. I was soo close to the interview have prepared everything and mentally prepared. USCIS like to play with people emotions. I just wish this will all be over with the new administration taking control.

Sorry to hear this news. I am wondering if cancellations are related to shortage of staff due to COVID.

It could be. The same delay like USPS, they also have shortage of staff, boy I waited a month for my package from Ann Arbor to arrive in Ypsilanti.

I'm not sure, when researching delays at this time of the year, that was one of the reasons I found.

They just changed the whole “interview scheduled”  letter. They added requirements regarding COVID-19 precautions and details about the 128 questions.

What was the date when they sent you descheduled notification?

I checked yesterday and there were no updates. I just saw the “interview scheduled” letter added today. But it says that it was sent on “January 15” which is weird.

Same here. I checked mine and it shows a new letter for interview on 25th. Thanks for posting about this letter being posted in account. I would've never checked if you didn't tell us in this blog
