No need for a lawyer...You can do it yourself...Be sure to read the consulate reviews up under the Nigerian Portal..I just posted one a couple of days ago..Lagos Embassy is not as difficult as it once was before as others have mentioned, but just be sure to have your stuff together..The main thing I see why people are getting denied or put in AP is not meeting the income requirements with face time coming next..If you met both and sent in quality evidence, you should be fine...However, do read the many reviews for the Lagos Consulate so you are prepared..Good luck on your journey!

Which means your petition was forward to NVC from the USCIS...In about 2-3 weeks you should receive your case number..It pretty much goes swift from here...Not as much waiting time as it was for USCIS..To get a better understanding on how it works with NVC, I suggest you read up on the Immigration Wiki on here which is very helpful..Good luck on your journey!

Sad to say, NVC is telling us that it could take 8 weeks to get a case number from when they receive the file. I am on week 4 and still waiting, so hang in there!

Oh wow! I received my case number fairly quick..Everything went fast from there...Just hang in there and you should hear something soon..
