I’m a little confused and just needed some more info. If I’m filing for my husband that’s overseas  (I’m a u.s citizen) should I fill out a I864 form or a i864ez. I’m not using a joint sponser I’m jus using my income. Thanks in advance!

If you are only sponsoring one immigrant (just your husband, no step-children), using your income only (no joint sponsor) then you can use I-864EZ.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

you can use I-864 if these three things applies

1.  you are the petitioner  of the family member being sponsor

2. the sponsor immigrant is the only one immigrating based on the underlying visa petition

3. you are using your own earn or retirement income

I-864ez is a lot easier to fill out and less room for mistake

when I file for my wife that is what I used

Correct, provided it is employment income, not self employment income.
