News flash.....My SO got packet 3 from the embassy yesterday!!! YEA!!! He can finally go to order his police certificate on Monday (in Japan you have to have paperwork from the embassy to order it) and will schedule his medical exam...I'm soo excited!!

I could use a little traveling advice.

I am planning to fly to the Philippines to be with Arlyn during the interview, and got the approval from my work to take the 10 or so days off I need.

The thing is, how soon can I get the plane ticket for Arlyn after we get the Visa in hand?

I want her to fly home with me, and sit together on the plane!

Also, do we need to buy round-trip because it is K1 visa? I heard rumors of this. I am hoping we can just buy normal one-way trip and be able to do so right after she gets visa in hand.

I know I went to Makati before to make a change in my Northwest Airlines flight last time I was there, and they had plenty of room. Difference is that this will be right after the New Years, and spots may be limited.

Any advice would be appreciated!
