Whhhooooooooooooooooooooooo HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!!!!!

Visa Received 22 August 2007, my honey is coming to the US!!!!!!!

CM

That is wonderful news for you. It appears you got a very quick embassy interview date!!! I can only hope Moscow will be as quick (I have heard about 2 months after they get the packet from NVC). Maybe it will be quicker----again---CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thanks----I'll remember that----I AM SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH. My sweetheart arrives TOMORROW for 6 weeks!!!!!

If the Moscow embassy is like the Prague embassy, then you can call the embassy and schedule the appointment as soon as you get Packet 3. Fiancee visas are handled in a different part of the embassy than tourist visas so its not a busy. For Prague at least you have to call the embassy directly to schedule rather than using the online system which is usually for tourists. Im pretty sure thats why our was quick; that and the fact that we had volumes of papers ready for the interview so not to leave anything to question.

Hope it helps.... and THANX!!!

I just check the processing times for VSC and last week they were on January 13 now they updated to February....??? That's what USCIS told me a month ago but I don't think that is updated, right???? If it is, how come other people from April, May, June and even July got their NOA2 already....!! It just doesn't make sense.....Right?!?!??!

--Mirla.

Someone explained yesterday, that the USCIS updates show that the Febuary petions are the oldest cases they are working on, not the newest. So definitely their 'updates' on the processing times are not very helpful.

Am another May filer and just wanted to say hi to everyone and that we have got to be SO close to getting our NOA2's!!! Every day of suspense seems incredibly long, but our day is coming---I think it was C.S. Lewis who said "The pain now is part of the happiness then". God bless all of you as we wait it out together and look forward to being with our loved ones again soon!

On another thought, have any of you made any **wedding** plans yet? Have any of you set tentative dates, or are you waiting til later to do all that? Has anyone else struggled with trying to arrange the minister, caterer, and make reservations etc when you really can't give a sure date? Maybe all that is premature, but a lot of wedding venues/people/places require several months in advance to reserve them---so my fiance and I have decided that small & simple is the way to go as far as the wedding hoopla goes. The main thing of course is the MARRIAGE, not the wedding, but I was just curious as to what everyone else is doing/planning.

Godspeed the USCIS!!!

It's hard to plan a wedding without a date :( Once I have my visa in hand we will wait another 4 months so we can plan all the wedding stuff and my moving arrangements. 4 months isn't much time.. but hopefully we would be able to do it! Our plan is to have 2 wedding receptions, so that means... a lot more planning to do!

Welcome, welcome pedsgirl77! Glad to have you on board.

As for the wedding, we aren't going to do anything very exciting. Likely we will be married at the courthouse as neither one of us will have family around to really celebrate the big day (his are all in Ireland, mine are in California). We may have a celebration of sorts after the marriage cerermony celebrate with loved ones at a later time. :)

For the now though I just want to know what is happening with my petition. no new touches this morning or e mail saying RFE or Approved. :crying: but it's early yet so I will give it some more time before I start the 'every minute checks' on the old email account. And I am not ruling out the RFE trick if I start to truly go insane with the waiting game. *sigh* Do they not have ANY idea how much emotional torture they are putting us through?? :bonk:

Ever hopeful,

No touch since June 1st, I WANT TO GET TOUCHED, TOUCH ME PLEASE, FONDLE ME IF YOU WANT!!! (Frustration likely due to a prolonged separation with my fiancée, but we're seen each other for Labor Day halfway, in NYC... pardon the screaming).

I guess my turn will be coming soon too since our filing date is towards the very end of the month. And hopefully our plans will work out: she has bought her ticket for LAX for Oct 4th and our wedding date is Oct 27th! Hopefully the USCIS will join the party and process our application on time. Without the K1, she would still come as a tourist and fly back to Switzerland when the appointment comes.

Wish us luck.

Our original hopeful date is Oct. 27 also, but we may end up moving it back--who knows??!
