Day 86 and counting....

When I first sent in my app for the K-1, average processing time varied between 89 and 93 days. It's now up to 120 days processing time. I mean, honestly. The processing times keep getting pushed farther and farther out.

Chins up everybody!! - the good news is we've made it this far. I've been looking over the January & February filers' timelines, and it looks like once they received their NOA2s, most had their interviews/visas in 4-6 weeks. I was bracing myself for another 3-4 month wait according to the VJ timeline.

This is a REALLY frustrating/testing process, but we all know it's worth it!!!

Okay, they verified that my case is with an agent now, and I will "receive something in the mail by the end of this month".

She wouldn't tell me any more than that. Darn it. I asked her if anything has changed on my status, and she kept answering with "it is with an agent, and you will receive something by the end of this month."

Well, at least it's been assigned a worker! Woot!

Won't be long now guys. May has begun!!!!

To those people who have already ordered their police certificate, what's involved with that? How do you order one? I didn't know you could do it ahead of time.

Adam is from England, if that makes a difference for any responses.

They don't expire or anything, do they? It's okay to get it dated for September or whatever even though (most likely) Adam's interview won't be till December?

I have just spoken with csc and the lady tells me they are processing cases up to My 14th. Hopefully this means we all will be getting noa2's in the very near future. Let's pray that the big goverment wheel does hit any potholes anytime soon...

Hey Michele,

Have Adam order his first thing tomorrow!! They are good for one year, so nows the time. Stephen ordered his right after we sent in our K-1. It takes forty days to get it usually (very few people get it sooner than like 36 days.... they usually take the full 40 they are allotted to get it to you). Stephen sent in a copy of his passport, but they wanted additional ID verification, so even tho we ordered it in May, he STILL doesn't have it. Just make sure that Adam sends in two proofs of ID just to be safe. He shouldn't have any problem. He'll have to go to his local police station and request the form. It cost 10 pounds to order it. But definitely have him get on it tomorrow!!!

My advice to any May filers whose fiance/es haven't ordered their Police Certificates, do so now!

the police certificate's Good for 12 month in the UK ... sont worry about .. i got mine 2 month ago ... and he can get from his local police station , here is the link for more infmormation.... the form called 'Subject Access' it will take about 4 to 6 weeks to obtain it ...

The best way to do any paper work before you get your NOA2 Approved is, to visit US Embassy website of your Fiancé/e countries and in immigration visa section, look for fiance visa documentation, read over and over again and talk to your fiancé to see if he can get any of it done and find out how long they are valid.

Plan accordingly, cause for Chennai,India they give approx. 25 days to get all the paper work done and submit to their office (this is my experience when applied immigration visa for my mom and dad), which isn't enough, so plan way ahead.

We got APPROVED YESTERDAY!!! Our adjudication time according to VJ was August 27, 2007 and we got the approval 11 days prior to the approx. date
