Cr1 to aos

Hi everyone 

 

I am.just curious? We have a CR1 currently in process it's still going through the NOA2 stage. But has anyone here every tried to change to AOS  while in process of the cr1? I don't want to mess anything up but I am.just trying to think of a loop hole so I don't have to leave my husband. We filed in December and I worry it takes such a long time to process

If you're not in the US right now then planning on AOS after entry is immigration fraud. If you are in the US then I wonder why you didn't AOS in the first place.

I am currently in the usa, and the thing is I didn't know about this aos while here. I understand everyone has to wait. I am.just enquiring

Is fraud if you go to the US with the intent of AOS. You need to finish the rest of the process outside.

Yes that's what I thought I just read many things online that people have done this and I just have to ask

You declared your intent to immigrate when you filed your CR1 application. It would be a hard sell to prove you didn't want to immigrate at the time you entered the US with a pending CR1.
