i -130 Filers of parents for January 2018

Hey,

My finance Parents has interviewed on September 11, 2018 and they took the passport and said they will get the visa in 2 weeks but when its been more then 2 months, he sent them the inquiry and they sent this response.

 we are confused and worried , what does this mean ? where should we contact ? who can help? we didn't got any email or mail for requesting documents..

I am looking for advice for filing I-130 for my parents-- (a) is there any advantage (timeline) in filing I-130 for them while they are already in US? (b) if I file I-130 for them when they are in their home country (India), could they travel to the US while the process is pending?  They already have tourist visa.

Our journey is done. My mom is here, in US.

 

She got her visa a week later than expected because she had to update her Police Certificate. The Police Certificate must have all previous Last Names.

I got case number and invoice ID for my parents I130 from NVC. Can someone guide me what is the next process ?

 

My parents are in India now and I selected Mumbai consulate for Visa interview so I should write Agent name of India or can I be agent for my parents application ?

 

What documents I have to submit with Affidavit of Support form ? and I have to mail those documents to NVC or I can send scan copy and upload on NVC website ?

 

Does NVC needs any documents from my parents side as of now or not ?

We filed for his parents in April 20th, his dad got approval notice today but i wonder why his mom has not yet?

I filed them together i did everything all together. Every time they get a notice its for both of them. Now... nothing for her

My Parents I-130 application was approved and NVC also accepted all the documents (AOS I 864, DS-260 and Civil documents). I have one question regarding scheduling interview.

 

After NVC accepted all the documents and DS260 (visa application), Will NVC notify us to schedule an interview at US Embassy or NVC will give us exact date and time for an interview at US Embassy directly? How NVC notify us regarding interview date or scheduling an interview?

Hi All,

 

NVC Accepted all the required documents (AOS, I864, DS-260 and supportive documents) for my parents applications who live in India,  since my income is low and doesn't meet minimum requirement , so I mentioned my spouse as a household member and my spouse submitted I864A form with other required documents. NVC verified all the documents and sent us 2 email today.

 

--> In one email NVC mentioned that NVC received all the required documents and accepted all documents

--> In second message email, NVC mentioned : " Based on the income provided on the Affidavit of Support, Petitioner does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor to may be submitted."

 

 

I don't know why NVC sent second message email for minimum requirement even if I submitted my spouse income and mentioned my spouse as Household member also submitted I864A ,TAX return and W-2 of my spouse and NVC accepted it.

 

Do I need to add one more sponsor in the application ? If yes, then how can I add that one member since NVC status shows case completed and scheduling interview ?

Finally my mother has her Consulate Interview in RIO on Friday 1.25. About one year after we initially filed. We are hoping so much that this is IT! So much work into all of this. Anyone have experiences of the questions that were asked to your parents?

My mother's Interview was approved on 1/25!! Thank god! Visa issued. Basically exactly 1 year from start to finish. Good luck everyone!!
