Yes, I do know.  I am formerly from Manhattan and Brooklyn.  And those of us who live outside the five boroughs know that “upstate” means north of the Capital Region!

Well, today I had my interview so I would like to share my experience with you all. my interview was scheduled for 09:30am at local office in Kansas City Missouri. My wife and I arrived around 09

I wish I hadn't had to cancel my naturalization interview. I'd probably be a US citizen by now. I still haven't heard anything about a re-scheduled interview. I have a Mis-Infopass scheduled for Tuesday morning to try and find out whats going on.

18 February 2017: USPS Tracking - Ready for collection from PO Box

25 February 2017: NOA1 received dated 02/21/2017

03 March 2017: Received biometrics appointment letter dated 25th February 2017. Appointment on 16 March 2017.

16 March 2017: Biometrics completed

08 March 2018: Case (allegedly) transferred to the National Benefits Center (presumably for a combo interview)

04 April 2019: ROC approved (as part of N-400 combo interview)

N-400

18 February 2018: N-400 Application submitted online

21 February 2018: NOA1 Rreceived

23 February 2018: Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment 13 March 2018. 

27 April 2018: Interview notice received. Interview Date: June 5, 2018. Request to reschedule sent as out of the country at that time.

04 April 2019: Attended interview ... PASSED!

11 April 2019: Oath ceremony

Hi Guys just wanted to share my interview experience: 

 My interview was Latham-NY at 11:15AM, I was called at 11:20AM. The officer was friendly, asked me about my trip ( I live in CT, 2.5 driving). First she asked me for all my passports and green card and then with the civic test, the questions asked were:

Name one state that borders Canada?

When was the Constitution written?

What is freedom of religion?

How many senators are there?

When must all men register for the selective service?

What Ocean is in the East Coast of US?

After that she went through my application and confirmed all info, address, dates and the yes and no questions. My application was based on marriage( 3 years rule) so in the end she asked me for the copies of my last 3 years taxes and a recent joint bill( I gave my last car insurance renewal). She said that I was recommended for approval but there's no update yet. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.

So that was my experience I hope that is helpful and I wish good luck to all of you that still waiting.

It's weird cause my friend had same day updates( text messages), but mine still "Your interview was schedule". I think you will hear something after 15 days of your interview in regards to the oath.

I had same day updates as well. That is weird. Well hopefully it’ll change for you tomorrow.

She said that would make some correction in regards to my trips out of the country, it looks like It wasn't correct in the system, maybe is just that, that is causing this delay.
