Updated. Also added a few people from the April list that are very obviously in May. If it makes them feel better to consider themselves April filers, more power too them, but it might help people who filed in May who are looking to get a better reference on time. I'll try to keep up with some of the people who cross threads, but I might fall behind on some.

when filling them in? do you put your new surname?

I use my husbands last name, and my lastname when i was still single became now my middle name. I dropped my mom's maiden name.

We received an RFE today for my (the sponsor's) W-2's. Of course, they don't say what year's W-2's they want, and it's really oddly worded. So, with my usual panic when it comes to these things, we copied my W-2's for the past three years (2004, 2005, 2006) and re-sent the federal tax returns for those years. Put them out in the mail just a few minutes ago.

Oh, and this is another case of them asking for something they already got. We submitted all of this stuff with our original application. I'm starting to wonder if someone just likes losing things over there, or if they are doing it on purpose to make people wait longer.

I'm wondering why gustahot's cased was touched too.

I stopped checking the website because we have our biometrics next week so I know we can't be approved or anything. So, I just checked the website after reading your posts and there is no update.

I can't wait for the biometrics and then the approval...!

There was a touch on the 10th, which I thought was the biometrics, but maybe it was the RFE, there's really no knowing. I'm just kind of worried because I've heard horror stories about people getting their applications denied for not sending things back exactly correct and then not knowing about it for months. I guess I'm just a worry wart.

Hey gustahot? Is the date you have for your NOA1 the date you received the letter, or the notice date? It seems a bit 'off' compared to other NOA1 notice dates.

Hey Arazia,

05/15/07 - NOA1 of all forms (Day 13) is the day I received the letter (one day after the biometrics letter). The notice date is May 7.

05/21/07 - I-130, I-765, I-131 Touched, you know... no update inside, only date changed in the "Last updated" in the USCIS website column...

The File Number refers to your A# Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the RFE for the tax information, that would be the one thing I was worried about with our packet. I only sent in information for 2006 figuring USCIS already has our information for 2005, and it was a print out from TaxCut along with copy of my W2. So not an IRS tax summary like I sent for the 2005 taxes... Ah well...
