Hi,

We paid the AOS fee 24th of January over the online portal. It said processing for 3 days after that paid.

We received a receipt saying NVC received the payment and the AOS cover sheet is freed.

We have been invoices the IV visa fee. So far so good.

The only issue our US checking account has not been charged at all and there is no charge processing.

We called the bank and they said they dont see anything. We called NVC and they said their system says paid

and they cant re-issue a new invoice. We should keep the receipt that says paid and that`s it.

Well, we are afraid now that down the road they will find out that the payment did not process correctly

and this will delay our case. Even we asked to make another payment NVC refused.

What to do here?

Just be prepared to pay at interview if it comes up. If nothing comes up congrats. You saved some money. Hope the rest of the process continues to be smooth.

I agree with Longingfor. I would carry on and if asked at the interview be prepared to pay again. I am sure this happens occasionally as proof of DS 260 is a requirement at the interview. Just go "oh really" when they say the payment didn't go through. Did you get a barcode with a confirmation number? I know in Canada I had to input the DS 260 confirmation number when registering my interview.
