Hello, I have a question and I apologize if it has already been asked a million times in this forum.  I've been looking all over the internet and I can still not make this clear to me.

I'm filling out the I-124f and I'm stumped by the question asking about I-94 Arrival-Departure Records. It reads:

  • If your beneficiary is currently in the USA, complete the following questions
  1. He or she last entered as a (for example, visitor, student, exchange alien, crewman, stowaway, temporary worker, without inspection)
  2. I-94 arrival-departure record number
  3. date of arrival
  4. date authorized stay expired or will expire as shown on form I-94 or I-95
  5. Passport number

Do I have to fill in the times my fiance has visited America under this section? Or is this section only for fiances that are currently still in America??

I seem to find conflicting information on the internet.

Thanks for your help!

Are you filing the i129f?

Only fill it in if your beneficiary is in the USA.

We left it blank (well, we 'N/A'd it) as the beneficiary (me) was not in the USA. We included a print out copy of the I-94 list in the package, though because it asked for it...

Not saying that's right, of course! We got confused too but then decided that we'd take their wording literally

There's an older topic on this too;

Looks like others left it blank and got approved, hope this helps some?

That's correct we did the same and were approved.

However we didn't include i94 at the stage :)

This gets asked here several times and I really don't know why. It clearly says "if your beneficiary is currently in the USA...". It's a very easy question. There are no trick questions in this process.

Probably because this is an extremely important and lengthy matter for everyone here.  And no one wants to make a dumb mistake, so better off asking a "dumb" question.

It's always better to be safe than sorry in my opinion. :)

The instructions on the form itself are different to the instructions on the instructions page.

There's a reason so many people have asked the question...

Are you talking about 129f? If so, then you only answer that question if your fiancé is CURRENTLY in the US. If he’s not, the question does not pertain to you and should be left blank. Do not input previous entries information. That’s only asking for current situation, meaning at the time you are filling that form out.

This is true! That's why I posted the original topic quoted above.  We didn't fill out the section in the form but still included a copy of the I-94 in the packet and were approved with no issues.
