Hi! I really need help.

I’m currently in Dallas and we don’t know what to do. I’m 19, I finished high school in the Philippines last 2015 and a semester of College at FEU.

Now we don’t know what to do.

Should I just take a GED even if I have my high school diploma?

Hope someone could help us shed light on this matter.

1.  What is your current status in the US?

2.  What are your career goals?

You do not need the GED as this is for someone who never completed high school and you have

YMMV

I don't see why you would get a GED. What would be the reason? If you want a career that requires college go check into it at local colleges and see what their requirements are.

No you don't need a GED

Why would you even consider doing that if you have a diploma from PI

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

To be a Registered Nurse in USA it only takes 2 year training and can be done at a community college or vocational School

LVN is only one year.

Great.  Nursing is a wonderful field....I am a retired Registered Nurse myself......It is a very, very rewarding career.  and there are so many different areas in which you could practice.

Your high school diploma will be recognized. You may or may not even get some of your coursework in your semester of college recognized as well but that is all dependent on the University's review of your college coursework

That is one of the reasons I entered Nursing after I retired from the military.  Nurses can find work anywhere in the country.  I was fortunate to work in several areas.....Labor and Delivery, Home health, Psych (Adolescent & Adult) , Surgical Services, and IT.......and those are only a few of the areas available.......
