I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage, so that baby is resting in a small grave now. Thanks for trying to make it look like I'm asking with dual intent and digging up my old, and very painful to see, post. I would have loved nothing more than to have had my in laws here for that event if it ended in a live birth. Now we have another happy event coming up, and hopefully we can have them visit for this instead. @SusieQQQ @az2014

I’m truly sorry for your loss, but seeing as we couldn’t possibly have known about it, trying to make us feel bad is pointless. Very clearly no one here was intentionally trying to cause you pain. However, people often do go back to past posts from people. You’d be amazed at the number of posters who apparently have a myriad different reasons for family members to get visas.

They have a pension

they own a house

our friend in Nashville was able to get visa for his parents with just the pension / they only rented apartment

also he paid for all of it and sent a letter to say he would / not afficvit of support but a letter saying they would stay with him (sent photo of house to show it was adequate)

he also stated the tickets would be for round trip

they were here 3 months

none of us can say what they will do about the brothers as Casa is so iffy

and so sorry about your loss

TBH I'm not too concerned about my brothers, it would be a nice bonus if they got it but if not, as long the parents are approved is the main thing. Thanks for the advice about the letter, that it what I was going for but didn't know if we had to do anything official instead of just a letter. Can they apply too far in advance, or does this matter? Graduation is still half a year away.
