You received an RFE? if it was for a document that you already sent, and they are requesting again, is very common, just send what they are requesting as soon as you can.

 

it can take a couple of days, 2 weeks or 2 months at least. but each case is different.

I was visiting my husband in the US last week when we received the happy news that our case had finally been approved. Yesterday I received a case update saying they'd sent the file on to NVC. SO RELIEVED. I finally feel as if things are moving along. Thank you all for your continued support. :)

Something went very wrong with my passport delivery (see here)

Congratulations 😄😊😊 indeed now things will move pretty fast at NVC

My case was sent to NVC on January 16th and as of today I finished all NVC steps from my side , will get my scan date next week 😊😊

That's the date when they scanned all the documents you sent in their system and your 8-11 weeks of processing time starts

@harsh2010, that's awesome! If you don't mind me asking, when did you receive you're NVC case number? My I-130 was sent to NVC on February 14, just wondering when to expect something from NVC. Thanks in advance!!
