Now onto the NVC stage. I think I will be following the NVC Filers for August 2018, possibly September 2018, not sure.

I have an NVC question and I"m not sure if I should post it here or somewhere else.

I'm trying to get all the documents in step 4 & 5 and when it asks for photocopies of birth certificates, police records etc. is it for the petitioner as well as the applicant(s)? So I, the petitioner need to photocopy my birth certificate and any other paperwork it asks for along with my spouse?

Same to you!

I got a congressman involved because my case was sent to NBC over 65 days ago.

After many inquiries from the case worker, I am not in a department for review to see if my case was sent their in error.  We have a meeting to chat on Friday.  So hoping to hear some information soon.

Hey lady did u get something positive from your congressman?

Sounds like you will be doing an interview here in the states prior to your I-130 approval.  This sometimes happens.  Any previous interactions with immigration?

I didn’t know that petitioner do interview too.

No interactions particularly just regular calls for status update. Case have been to the local office since january (220 days). It is so confusing to me

Sometimes they call in the Petitioner to do an interview in the States prior to the I-130 being approved and being sent to NVC. I would call your local office.
