Hi @iamdegie, thanks and that is not a problem :)

We plan to show our bank statements of ALL our accounts (both US and foreign) for the past 12 months. That should establish that the fund is not somehow borrowed from someone and is not only temporary.

Great news, we have our interview date set, it's on December 5th! It has been a blessing because my wife is scheduled for the birth of our baby on December 6th via C-section, we can't believe the timing of her AOS, less then 90 days from mailing packet to interview! Hope everyone else is getting interview appointments or seeing progress. I think it really depends on where you live and how busy your local USCIS office is, we are in a smaller city in Washington State. Looks as though we won't even need the AP we filed  and haven't even heard anything from it. My guess is that it isn't even necessary at this point since interview date is so soon, my wife doesn't plan on going anywhere soon anyways, haha.

Congrats. That is fast! How does this happen? Does it depend on the type of case? Also, was the packet filed during Final Action date?

Update:

Completed through an Immigration Attorney:

Priority Date: 6/9/11.

NOA - I-130: Approved: 5/19/14.

Mailed application packet on 10/2/17.

NOA - I-485/Supplement A: Received:10/4/17  // I-485/Supplement A: Notice date: 10/11/17.

NOA - I-765: Received: 10/4/17 // I-765: Notice Date: 10/11/17 (Online case status only says 10/4/17 though).

NOA - ASC: Notice Date: 10/21/17. SSN is not listed and I am not sure why? SSN was submitted in the application. USCIS A# is listed on I-485, I-765 and ASC.

11/6/17: 2pm appointment date Biometrics.

Is the application moving fairly quickly or about the same timeline?

Also, I know RFIE/RFE can be issued at anytime but what documents have they looked so far to make sure every evidence is there as needed to be approved? Does it go through documents checks at NBC and then again at local field office?

Logged into USCIS account and it shows:

10/31/2017

On October 31, 2017, your request to correct an error on your document or notice, referral number TIDxxxxx~, was completed.

On October 31, 2017, we sent a response to your request to correct an error on your document or notice, referral number T1Dxxxxx~.

On October 31, 2017, your request to correct an error on your document or notice, referral number T1Dxxxx~, was assigned to an officer for response.

My birth year was incorrect on NOA I-485 so I called USCIS and they submitted a service request. Does this mean they corrected the birth year? Can I ask to get a more precise update of the birth year correct at the ASC Biometrics appointment?

I wonder why is it not listed?

Mine was not listed. Idk y.

Did biometrics on the 31st. It took 5 min. You can dress casual.

They messed up my last name for i765 and i131. I called and they said I probably put it wrong on the form, of course not. The guy created a service request, about 2 weeks ago. No update online. Just case received. No letter.

Are you a October filer? They already submitted a service request reflecting on the case history on 10/31/17 and it says completed but I am not sure it was already corrected or they are still working on it? Can they do anything at the Biometrics appointment or this is strictly for the fingerprinting purpose?

Yes I filled on October. I would guess they have corrected your birth date since its completed. I thinks the person who assist you with the fingerprint doesn't have access to that, but you can always ask.

Hey :)

I had my biometrics appointment at 9am this morning. I arrived 10 minutes early, by 9:05am I was done! Was in and out in 15 minutes! I wore grey jeans, a grey sweater and converse! Was super simple and really straight forward. Picture, fingerprints and electronic signature are taken!

I've written a full outline of the 15 minutes on my blog if you want more detailed info: https://yaztalksalot.wordpress.com/2017/11/06/what-happens-at-the-biometrics-appointment/
