USCIS Expedited request

I put in a expedited request with USCIS due to medical reasons for my spouse. The first one was denied without ever contacting me. I put in a second request. My case online shows request complete. I received an email stating that it was forwarded to a supervisor for review and can take up to 45 days. Does this mean the expedited request was approved and the supervisor is reviewing my petition?

So this is the problem, my email address was wrong so they could only read me the letter over the phone which states that it was sent to a supervisor for review. i found someone else that had a similar letter (remember I can't read mine) and theirs was approved to expedite and by sending it to a supervisor means it was approved. I am just hoping that someone can confirm this

They said they sent an email to the wrong email address as well. The funny thing is on the uscis website it says they completed my request in 7 days but I called like 15 days after and they said it had not been assigned yet. It's a bunch of BS if you ask me.

Well that would be really frustrating if that is my case :/

To normalize the situation it is extremely difficult to get an expedite approved. There are only a few cases I have been in these forums where it has gone through. You can try to work with a member of Congress (Senator or Congressperson) to see if they can advocate on your behalf. But the situation has to be extreme in order for USCIS to consider the case.

How do you check your expedite case status online? I would appreciate any info about that. Thank you in advance

Thank you! I already made an account and checked that but the status is super confusing for me. On the same day it's says the request was assigned, separate info says they sent us a response (no email unfortunately) and another separate line says that the request was completed. So I'm worried it's denyed... waiting for my fiancé to call them when he is done with his training. And I'm so happy it worked for you!

Under your case status it will say if your request has been assigned to an officer or completed etc. but they do send you an email.

Hi Crincon, congratulations!! Please can you tell us did you apply for expedite both time by calling in? About how many days from the first time you call them till you decide to apply again? About how many days it took for the case status on uscis website be changed to the request was completed after you called them the second time? Sorry we have so many questions...it is really frucstrating we filed for expedite but never heard anything or had any change for online status after sending in the supporting document they required by email. Our case is bit difficult for the petitioner to call in to check directly with uscis coz he has mental issues. Thank you and congratulations again!
