So they received my case 27 SEP at Potomac (NOA1).  April 3rd I received notification they approved my case (NOA2) and on April 5th I received notification it was sent to State Dept.

I also received an email update that they were still 'reviewing' my case however they already said the last action was that they sent it to DOS so how is it that they are still reviewing?  It is conflicting because it states last update is 5 April but by stating they are still reviewing (as opposed to sending it to DOS) which contradicts the previous step.

Okay, so I called NVC to follow up and they confirmed they received on APR 11, however, no case number has assigned as of yet.  Standard could be (but doesn't have to be) up to 8 weeks from date of receipt.  That said I am just shy of 2 weeks so will continue to follow up until case number is assigned.  I suppose the note I received from USCIS on the 19th of April was a glitch since NVC confirmed they had received on the 11th.

After I requested for a call back today, they have called me and told me that my case was approved on 04/20. PD 09/26 No1, NO2 04/20 B-) good luck for those who are waiting for approval.

after we got the approval they said wait 6 weeks .. after 6 weeks they will send any thing ? or should i call them ?

You'll get a letter from NVC with your case number for further processing. Wait for 30 days and if you don't get anything within 30 days then you can call NVC. Or wait another 2 weeks. Usually it takes 4-6 weeks.

I just finally tried calling in to USCIS for the first time. I got a call back from the tier 2, but they said they could not verify me over the phone and told me to make an appointment with my local office to receive any information on the case. This seems different than the response most people have reported. Has anyone else encountered this? I am the petitioner, a US citizen btw and answered their questions on name/DOB/address correctly.
