Only time will tell, but RAISE doesn't have legislative support to pass. DACA does, but I'm doubtful it will happen personally.

Right now as it stands, RAISE won't pass as is---if/when it does, it will be a very watered-down version of what they are proposing now.  And it won't be in effect until at least a year from now probably if anything did end up going through.

DACA *might* pass, but congress has time to work on something else in it's place to secure the legal status of DACA recipients (if they work on it).

I don't see RAISE passing anytime soon. It faces huge hurdles in terms of support for it and I doubt congress will ever agree on it.

DACA on one hand has an overwhelming support from the house (both republicans and democrats). The challenge however is :

1. Congress has a ton of bills they need to work through and DACA may not get the attention or priority it deserves.

2. There are some members of congress who want to use it as leverage to pass a bill on immigration reform and plan on rejecting any bill about DACA without a comprehensive immigration reform. We all know there is no way Congress is going to be able to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill anytime soon. There hasn't been any success doing it in over 20+ years and it certainly won't happen anytime soon.

Despite all this, I'm hopeful something positive will be done about DACA soon.
