CEAC Case Update dates

Hello

 

I submitted the requested documents to the embassy. they requested additional info on 221g. Since the day it was delivered - Friday Aug 18. There have been two case update dates - Aug 21 and Aug 22 but the status remains in administrative processing.

 

Does this mean that its reach the embassy and is sitting on someone's desk or is the date update just an automatic thing?

Please search through the forums as there are multiple questions on the same topic/questions. I do not know the answer but I remember the seeing the same questions being asked frequently.

Have you had any luck? My fiance is in the same situation received 221g on Aug 23 and submitted docs same day. We are waiting and ceac case updated today but stayed in admin processing.. im anxious.

You will get it sorted it out. AP takes as long as it has to take. There was another VJ member whole was in AP for a month until his status changed to Issued. Unfortunately we all have to go through the AP process. =\

We have to pray it doesnt take too long specially with a 221g you never know what will happen since its not a yes or a no until they process it.
