Various activists and journalists turned their backs during Omarosa Manigault’s talk Friday evening at the National Association for Black Journalists conference.

Manigault, an aide to President Donald Trump, was one of several guests on the panel “Black and Blue: Raising Our Songs, Protecting Our Communities,” reports the New York Times.

The panel turned tense when Manigault and Ed Gordon, the panel’s moderator, began shouting at each other. Manigault was supposed to discuss the pain she had experienced after her dad and brother were both murdered.

The panel took a turn for the worse when Gordon asked Manigault constant questions about her job with the Trump administration and Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ tough rhetoric on crime and drug laws.

” I don’t want to hear your question, Manigault said at one point. “I don’t want to hear a lecture.” She eventually called Gordon “aggressive.”

Manigault also said that none of the journalists there were sympathetic to the pain she felt over her family members’ death.

“I came out to laughter as if this was a joke. Walking into a room where you get shut down does not open a line of communication so change can happen,” she said.

well if i didn't know better, i'd say that smacks of offering omarosa up as a token.

But I’m an activist, not a journalist. Everyone couldn’t stand. So until this White House stands for us, we will.”

   Generalizing and truth are not mutually exclusive. It actually holds true that generally there are consequences when you associate with someone extremely unpopular and reviled such as Trump. IDK if that's the case here, but if it is, she wouldn't be the first, and the way Trump is going, definitely not the last.

Not the left, the regressives, anything to the right of that 1% I realise is Fascist by definition. And half of those no doubt are Nazi's.
