Filing for K1 when i use to be J1 Aupair and B2 Visa holder

Hi, my visa journey background is in red if you wish to skip to the question.

 

I came USA Feb 2013 on a J1 for 1 year, extended with a different family in the same state from Jan 2014-Feb 2015, my extension ran out and my grace period ended March 2015. 

Applied (using a lawyer) and was approved for a B2 Tourist visa until I left USA Aug 2015, my B2 visa documents were sent to my USA host family address.

I am now living back in the UK attending university, once I have finished I plan to move back to USA to get married. (I have been back to the USA to visit about 6 times)

Now looking to apply for K1 visa in Nov 2017 with my USA born fiance (who I've been with since 2014)

 

Did anyone who was an Au pair list their host family as employers or the Au Pair agency? Also did you list your host family addresses as address history?

I had mail going to both my USA host family address and UK home address at the same time so I'm unsure of dates I should put down or if i should even list my US addresses.

I am trying to file without a lawyer as my previous lawyer is charging us $2500 for the I-129F, K-1, and adjustment of status. (obviously this doesn't include the cost of filing)

It's considered employment so you'll list those dates as requested. Your passport and contract for J1 should help with exact dates.

Thank you so much for the quick response, would you know if I should put down the agency as my employer or the host family name?

Also should I be saying that in the time I lived with the host family in the USA that I wasn't living in England even though all my document still went to my UK address?

 

During my B-2 visa time I did live in my host families house but I was technically a tourist and I only used it as a hub going from one place to the next, should i say I lived in their house until i left the USA or will they not look upon that fondly (that i was a tourist but was living at an address in USA) should I say i was living back at my UK address?
