I'm not holding my breath. Until I get an update that the letter was mailed, I'm just going to keep assuming it will be 2018 some time.

The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Please note that not every application/applicant will require an interview. In some instances, an interview is required by regulation and others an interview is requested because USCIS has determined that this is the most efficient means to determine eligibility. For a naturalization application the interview will include your taking the required English and/or Civics tests (unless exempt or waived).

Have you heard how the online filing is getting processed for Seattle?

I've yet to come find anyone from Seattle who filed online before Aug 7, 2017.

I believe the application process is pretty much the same from/after your biometrics appointment since NBC transfers your case to your field office (the Seattle office for us).  :whistle:

 

So it looks like we'll just wait for the next 4-5 months until they schedule our interview dates.  :clock:

Usually that message means you’re in line. You don’t usually get the letter until the status changes to say the letter was mailed.

If it says "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice." then you should be in-line for interview :)

I tried to track my case that way, but it would not allow me unless I have an access code. I filed my 400 on paper. You were able to do so? Thanks.
